The cost of analyzing one human sample for pesticide metabolites using highly sensitive Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry is roughly $350.

In order to create robust understanding of pesticide exposure in Iowans, our committee aims to conduct THREE (3) analyses per study participant over the course of calendar year 2026, and we hope to recruit as many participants that meet our criteria as we can.
